CHA is a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm with extensive experience supporting district energy and low-carbon heat initiatives. Our Generation & Energy Management practice includes approximately 115 engineers and technical specialists delivering complex energy projects for utilities, universities, healthcare facilities, public sector organisations, and industrial clients.
Our capabilities include district heating and cooling, energy centres, heat networks, geothermal and heat pump systems, combined heat and power, thermal storage, renewable energy, microgrids, and associated electrical infrastructure. Through our presence in Ireland, we combine local engagement with the depth of an established international energy practice.
CHA supports projects from feasibility studies, energy master planning, and techno-economic assessments through detailed design, procurement support, construction services, commissioning, and operational optimisation. By applying lessons learned from successful U.S. district energy programmes and collaborating with Irish stakeholders, CHA aims to advance practical, resilient, and commercially viable solutions that support Ireland's decarbonisation and energy transition objectives.
